I can't believe that Katelyn is already 4 weeks! She seems so big to us already. She has changed a lot. She follows people with her eyes, she can hold her head up briefly, her hair has lightened to an auburn color and her eyes are a light blue just like Andy's.
We haven't really been up to too much lately. Andy works between 40 and 50 hours a week. We are vary thankful that he has this job and that he can work so many hours a week. I really like his schedule most of the time too because he works most days from 6:40 am to about 2 or 3 pm. So by the time Katelyn and I wake up which is around 9 there is only 5 hours until Andy gets home and we get to spend the afternoon and evening together.
School started again on Tuesday. I am only taking two classes this semester. I am taking a home and family management class and then old testament. I think that it will be just enough for me this semester.

3 weeks
Its crazy to think that our little girl is 3 weeks old today. This past week has been kind of tough. Katelyn decided this week that being awake all day is a lot more fun than sleeping. It is fun to an extend, at least its during the day and not the opposite. But as a result of her staying up all day we had a very cranky girl all week. I think she decided yesterday that it isn't so much fun to be awake all the time and that sleeping is amazing. She is now sleeping a lot better today and hopefully she decides to keep it that way.
Last week Andy's Mom, dad and two little sisters came to visit us. It was so much fun. We did lots of things. We went bowling(something I have been wanting to do for a long time), ate at big jud's, played lots of games, went for a walk around campus and watched it snow outside multiple times while they were here. They all loved Katelyn so much that they all were crying when they had to leave. We were so grateful that they were able to come up and stay with us.

1 week
I can't believe that it has already been a week since our little Katelyn was born. This has been one of the hardest and best weeks of my life! I have learned so much about me and also about our little girl. I have learned that I can service on a lot less sleep, but she does sleep so well!! I've also learned not to change her on our bed without something under her! I have learn that my love for her grows with each passing day.
The first 7 reasons why I love Katelyn:
1. I love her gas-y smiles. Even though I know they aren't meant for me I like to think they are.
2. I love her piggy squeal that she makes when eating.
3. I love all of her soft brown hair and her deep blue eyes.
4. I love that she is so strong already.
5. I love how peaceful she is.
6. I love that aside from my husband that she is the greatest blessing in my life.
7. I love that I love her so much. I didn't know I could love anything this much.
