Disneyland!!

Yesterday we took Katelyn to Disneyland for the first time. We had lots of fun. At first we tried to go on some of the little kid rides and Katelyn did not like them at all! We tried peter pan, dumbo, the Casey train, Carousel and its a small world. She screamed the whole time on all of them. We had bought Katelyn an autograph book and so we decided to take a break from the rides and go find some princesses and other characters. We found Snow white, Sleeping beauty and Jasmine first. She loved it! We realized that this might be what we are going to be doing all day and that was okay. We also found Goofy, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie in toon town.

After lunch we went over to California Adventure to go check out cars land. As we were walking we saw chip and dale. We all loved cars land! It looks just like the movie. We went and visited Lightning McQueen. Also in California Adventure we discovered The Redwood forest adventure. It turned out to be the favorite part of the day. We spent close to 3 and a half hours in there. It has slides, ropes to climb on, a tire swing, and lots of other fun things to climb in and on. We met Dug and Russell from Up. We also became senior wilderness explorers.

After exploring the redwood forest we decided to head back over to Disneyland and see if we could find anymore princesses but we found out that the princesses were done for the day. We decided to go get some ice cream at the carnation ice cream parlor and sit and watch the Disney parade. We had a fun day!!

Senior Pictures

When we were in Oregon, Jared asked Andy if he would take some pictures of him to use for his senior pictures. They had a really nice day and decided to go out and take some pictures. They turned out great!

Roadtrip to Tillamook

On the day before Thanksgiving, we decided to travel from Gleneden (where we were staying) to Tillamook, OR along the Coastal highway. We stopped at every beach, lighthouse and other scenic stops along the way. It was a very beautiful day trip. We eventually ended up at the Tillamook cheese factory and had a sandwich and ice cream (very Yummy!!)
