Oregon Coast

This week we are on the Oregon Coast spending time with Dana's family for Thanksgiving. The weather hasn't been on our side for most of the week so far but there have been a few breaks. These pictures show some of those breaks from the rain, but not the overcast skies. We are still going to be here for a few more days, but this is the beauty of the coast. There are also a few of Katelyn being Katelyn.

Fall Time!

So as you saw from previous posts this last week we saw snow in this area. This helped bring all the leaves down off the trees. Oddly enough after the snow we had a week of weather in the 60's. This helped dry the leaves and we decided it would be fun to rake them up and jump in them since Katelyn has never done this. At first she didn't know what to think, but she enjoyed it after a while.

At this young age we thought it best to not leaf any thing fun out.

Snowman

When it snowed last week, Andy helped katelyn build her first snowman. Katelyn helped to roll the first ball and then lost interest until he was all done. She loved her little snowman. Unfortunately he was melted by the end of the day.

Halloween

For Halloween we decided to dress up in a theme together. It was so much Andy and I haven't dressed up for Halloween in a long time.

Andy dressed up in a bee keeper suit, katelyn was a bumble bee and I was a flower. We got many complements at the trick or treat event we went to at fat cats.

Snow Day

So today we woke up to about 8 inches of snow and it still keeps coming! I think right now we have about 18 inches. CRAZY!! We decided it would be fun to go outside and play. It was Katelyn's first time playing in the snow. I don't think she liked it very much. Hopefully she will like it more when she gets older and we actually have real snow clothes and gloves her size.

Dandy Co Designs

Many of you may know by now that I have gone to school for Horticulture and have a Floral Business. I am currently trying to grow and gain more clients. Family Pictures

So today we thought would be a good day to go take family pictures. It was beautiful and warm outside ( 60 degrees), but Katelyn had another idea. Trying to take pictures of her is a challenge anyways but ask her to sit down, be still and look at the camera is an impossible feat. At least we had some fun trying to convince her to look at the camera, including asking complete strangers to act ridiculous to get her to smile.
